You can do it manually by copy and paste, of course, but who would want to do that? Zotero doesn't have this glaring omission. If you use other and better word processors such as Nisus Writer Pro, Mellel or Scrivener, you're completely out of luck: there seems to be no easy way to enter citations and automatically create bibliographies in anything else than in Microsoft Word and LibreOffice. To my surprise the book itself wasn't there, but instead I found scholarly journal articles ABOUT the book.Ĭitation plugins for MS Word, OpenOffice (?) and LibreOffice need to be installed/activated extra. I searched for a famous book which was first published in 1943 and which has been reprinted innumerable times since then. Although you don't upload anything yourself, you can still search and download references from the mutual online pool. You can also create research groups for your particular research field. This is of course fine if you want to collaborate with others. Although it's not strictly required, you can upload your references and grant other users access to them. After downloading the desktop application, you MUST create a (free) online account before you can start using the application. These are not 64 bit compatible as of July 2020.Mendeley is a reference manager for MS Word, OpenOffice and LibreOffice and an academic social network. Although Mellel is compatible with OS 10.15 Catalina, users may not want to upgrade to Catalina if, e.g., they use MathMagic or MathType to insert equations. The current version of Mellel, 5.0, reportedly supports MacOS 10.7.x or later. This policy does not apply to users who've purchased Mellel during the "lifetime" period. With the release of Mellel 4.0 Mellel AAR, the developer, announced that a for fee upgrade policy was re-instated (two years of free updates). As per the company, this policy was dropped in February 2014. Owners of Mellel announced in January 2011 that they will give free updates for life for anyone who will purchase the application outside the Mac App Store. Mellel provides tight integration with Bookends and Sente, bibliographical tools for managing citations, including Live Bibliography (instant updates of Bibliography when one adds a citation).Ī version of Mellel is available for the iPad. From the outset, Mellel has exported accurately to. docx and to ePub according to the developer's website. Its Replace Styles feature is able to reformat a large amount of text scattered throughout a document (a feature also present in Writer and in Nisus Writer for Mac OS Classic).ĭue to its unique approach to implementing many of its features, Mellel originally lacked full compatibility with standard word processors, but-as of July 2020-Mellel exports accurately to. Mellel has a unique way of handling styles, which are also organised as part of a style set, that can be utilised by multiple documents. With Mellel 4.0 the software added an Index tool which according to the company website "rivals dedicated Index applications". The software offers support for Outline, based on headings in the document text. Cross-references are also dealt with in a singular way by Mellel. This feature allows inclusion of three or more footnote types at the same time (e.g., editor notes, translator notes, endnotes, regular notes, etc.). Mellel has a distinctive way of handling footnotes and endnotes, allowing creation of numerous "streams" of notes in a single document. Mellel also presents a feature set suitable for working with long and complex documents, in order to match the needs of scholars and technical writers. Languages with non-Latin alphabets, including Arabic, Syriac, Hebrew, Greek, Korean or Persian, for example, are handled well due to the fact that Mellel sports its own text engine, that is not reliant on macOS text support, and in addition support for Unicode and OpenType fonts. One remarkable feature present in Mellel is its multilanguage support.

12/24/2023 0 Comments Ape escape monkey clausPlaying as either Kei (Satoru) or Yumi (Sayaka), gameplay follows that of the previous games in which the player must catch several monkeys by using various gadgets controlled with right analogue stick. See also: Gameplay of the Ape Escape series The game holds a total of four hundred and thirty-four monkeys if the secret code monkeys are not caught. To complete the game one hundred percent, all the four hundred and forty-two monkeys have to be caught, all the time trials have to be completed with a gold time, and all the items, CDs, Video Tapes (except 28), Car Skins, Genie Dance tracks, books, etc. After Kei and Yumi re-battle and re-capture the Freaky Monkey Five, Aki pinpoints the location where Specter is hiding out, and so Kei and Yumi travel there to face Specter once more and capture him again. However, during the game's credits, it is revealed that he has survived the explosion.Īfter Specter is defeated, Monkey Pink releases him and the rest of the Freaky Monkey Five. He is defeated and the two escape from the satellite, leaving Tomoki to deactivate the Twin Heavens via the self-destruct button, seemingly losing his life in the process. Afterwards he gets in his new Gorilliac Mech and tries to activate his plan. When they reach Specter, he tells them his plan about how he will use his space station to cut the Earth in half and keep half of it for the monkeys (leaving the other half, originally meant for Tomoki, to the humans). Once they reach Specter's outer space base of operations, Space Station SARU-3, they capture all the monkeys and deactivate the movie sets on their way to Specter. Specter arrives via video broadcast and mocks Tomoki, who, in response, takes the side of Kei and Yumi, granting them permission to take his rocket to space to defeat his former partner. Upon being defeated by Kei and Yumi, Tomoki's afro is revealed to be a wig covering a Pipo Helmet grafted to his head, which he reveals was the result of a lab accident where he was a test subject for the original Peak Point Helmet. When they reach Tomoki City, Tomoki challenges them to a battle in his giant Tomo-King robot. They manage to capture Monkey Red afterwards. When they reach the TV Station where Monkey Pink is, Kei and Yumi's attempts to capture her fail and she escapes, although they manage to stop her Specter TV broadcast anyway. Kei and Yumi easily capture Monkey White, Monkey Blue, and Monkey Yellow. Their mission was to go to every movie set and capture all the monkeys there and destroy the satellite there. When Natalie informs Kei and Yumi that Spike (Kakeru), Jimmy (Hikaru) and the Professor were all infected by the television show, Kei and Yumi go out to catch the monkeys and thwart Specter and Tomoki. The television shows that are broadcast on every television put every human except the twins Kei and Yumi (Satoru and Sayaka outside of North America), their aunt Aki, and Natalie (Natsumi outside of North America) into a mindless trance. They establish television stations protected by the Freaky Monkey Five where they plan to broadcast TV shows worldwide. トモウキ, Dokutā Tomōki ) to aid him in his evil plans. Glass Beads are derived from soda, lime, and silica. The processing of aluminum from alumina is a simple process in which the material undergoes electrolysis and recycling (Tabereaux, 2014). The two materials that attribute the traffic cone’s reflectivity are the aluminum film and the glass beads. Adhesives derive from fossil fuel resources, mainly polymers from petroleum (Packham, 2009). The production of acrylic fibers is similar to that of polyester, in which acrylic is melted down and spun into fibers (Heleno, 2002). Polyester is synthesized when polymer chips are melted and spun into filaments, which are then woven to create a strip of synthetic fabric used in the reflector tape. This tape is composed from polyester, acrylic, adhesive, aluminum film, and glass beads. The second major component of a traffic cone is the reflector band around the middle of the body. Finally, the product undergoes polymerization to create Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) (Patrick, 2005). These two secondary materials are then combined to form monomer vinyl chloride. While oil or natural gas is refined to create ethylene. Salt undergoes the process of electrolysis to create chlorine. The two most basic materials that comprise PVC derive from salt and oil. Traffic Cones produced via PVC injection moulds are simple in their material make up. This must be achieved through the innovation and implementation of green alternatives to petroleum-based plastic products, as well as the governmental policy to enact these changes for the sake of our planet. It is crucial that these toxic materials and waste are not released into the environment. This insufficient recycling process ultimately leads to needs of higher rates of raw material extraction, subsequently supplying more waste in the future. The materials that compose a traffic cone are part of a broader industrial production of excess toxic materials, attributable to the insufficient waste cycle of this product. Although simple in design, the extraction of materials, manufacturing, transport, and disposal of the traffic cone is a convoluted process. The traffic cone is one of the most mundane objects people encounter on a common basis. 12/24/2023 0 Comments New seiko 5 automatic watchesJapanese wholesalers needed to purchase all the imported timepieces from foreign trading companies established in Yokohama, Kobe, and other open port areas. The Optum Rx accumulator adjustment program should also be adopted for HDHP plans and those clients wishing to use variable copay. Plan sponsors benefit because included medications are aligned to their specific formulary for maximum savings. This ensures members never see a spike in cost or delay in therapy. Any program changes will also change the member copay. Optum Rx regularly reviews copay card program terms. The program features an automated member protection mechanism for each transaction. Members can even continue to use our home delivery service without interruption. The member experience doesn’t change, since they continue to benefit from their copay card bringing down their cost share responsibility at the point of sale. Members can access copay cards without disruption to their experience or the benefit design. This smooths the buy-down out over the course of 12 months. With Optum Rx variable copay, the maximum annual coupon assistance is spread over 12 months and sets the member’s cost share. The variable copay program applies to a select list of 200 drugs - representing more than 90% of the copay assistance available today - when dispensed through Optum Specialty Pharmacy. The Optum Rx® variable copay program drives client savings on specialty medications by maximizing contributions from manufacturer copay cards, while helping members get the medication they need. They protect your plan incentives while also guarding members from undue cost exposure. Optum Rx Copay Card Solutions is a suite of two programs designed prevent manufacturer assistance programs from disrupting your benefit plan. It doesn’t seem right that one member can meet their deductible essentially ‘for free’ using a copay card, while their co-worker has to spend their own money to meet the same deductible. This puts plan sponsors in an uncomfortable position. But copay assistance only applies to members who take specific drugs. If each plan member pays the same premium, they should get the same coverage. This effectively reverses the cost incentives built-in to the HDHP design.Īll of this points to a basic question of fairness. For example, if a plan has a $2,000 deductible, and a copay card pays the $2,000 cost share, the deductible would be met immediately. The same is true for plan sponsors who utilize a high deductible health plan (HDHP). That effectively reduces the monthly copay to zero, which is not the intention of the plan design. If the member has a $100 monthly copay, the copay card offsets that entire amount. Take a specialty drug that costs $4,000 per month. Copay assistance can significantly disrupt these plan designs. But in order to work, the benefit plans have to work the way they were intended. 4 Copay assistance presents challenges for plan sponsorsĮmployers take a great deal of care to design prescription drug plans that best meet the needs of their employees and their business. This amount was spread across over 669 programs among 253 different manufacturers - a 48% increase since 2016. Copay assistance dollars for commercially insured plans tripled from $6 to $18 billion just between 20. 3Ĭopay assistance programs are a significant and growing presence in the specialty drug world. Researchers from Harvard, Kellogg and ULCA business schools calculate that consumers pay up to $2.7 billion more for health care because of copay assistance. Overall, individual consumers wind up paying more, not less. Those increased costs are passed along to members in the form of higher premiums. Unfortunately, when coupon programs drive increased sales of high-priced drugs, employers and insurers must pay for them. One study found that for every $1 million invested in coupons, pharmaceutical manufacturers realized more than $20 million in profits. 1Īs tools, coupons are extremely effective. This may circumvent plan sponsors' formulary strategy, as the presence of a copay card means patients may not have financial incentive to utilize a lower-cost preferred therapy. Drug manufacturers use them to steer insured patients toward their medication. Ĭopay coupons, at their core, are a marketing tool. Manufacturer copay assistance programs help insured patients afford expensive prescription drugs by covering part or all of a member’s deductible and copay for certain medications. Drug maker copay cards can disrupt your benefit strategy unless you act.Īs drug costs continue to rise, drug manufacturers have designed ways to reduce the out-of-pocket costs for patients. 12/23/2023 0 Comments 2023 suzuki katanaThe bike also features a suite of advanced safety features, including ABS and traction control, which provide riders with added confidence and control. 12/23/2023 0 Comments Fruit zebra gum strainOrange is Orange - the flavor starts strongly artificial, sweet and tangy with only a slight grain to it. The lemon flavor is like chewing on a candle, not at all like a fresh or zesty real lemon, though there are some more zesty notes towards the end but those are reminiscent of cleaning supplies. Yellow is Lemon and as expected, it’s the most sour of the set. I’m actually not accustomed to chewing stick gum, as I prefer the candy coated chiclet styles for the variation in textures. The gum is smooth, the sugar is very sweet, so sweet that I kept checking the label to see if it was some sort of artificial sweetener. It wasn’t my favorite, but not too fake or sour. Peach is Peach Smash and has a fresh flavor to it. They feature the mascot for the gum, a zebra known as Yipes. The paper overwraps for the individual sticks are also temporary tattoos. The flavors are now Wet & Wild Melon, Cherry, Lemon, Orange and Peach. It’s a flat stick of gum, made from a synthetic chewing gum base with artificial colors and flavors. The concept of Fruit Stripe Gum is largely unchanged over the years. Just this year Farley’s and Sathers merged with the Ferrara Pan Candy Company. In 1999 Hershey’s picked up the brand from Nabisco along with the more popular Bubble Yum, Ice Breakers, Breath Savers and Care Free gums but then sold off the Fruit Stripes brand, along with Rain Blo, Hot Dog and Superbubble, to Farley’s & Sathers in 2003. In 1981 Nabisco acquired just the confectionery portion with the brands of Beech Nut and Life Savers. In 1968 Beech Nut (which had also acquired Life Savers in 1956) merged with Squibb to become Squibb Beech-Nut Corporation. The history of the gum is rather convoluted, as it’s tied up with Beech Nut, which made both candy and baby food. The flavors were cherry, orange, lime, mixed fruit and lemon ( picture of early ad). The packages were a mix of five flavors, each with striped colors on the gum sticks. Fruit Stripe Gum was launched back in the early 1960s as an extension of Beechnuts broad line of gums and fruity candies. |
